  • In 2012, Alutiiq won the National Safety Council award for work on construction projects at military bases in Hawaii, Texas and North Carolina
  • In 2011, Cherokee Nation Businesses subsidiary, Cherokee CRC, was selected as the Small Business Administration's Prime Contractor of the Year for Region VI.
  • In 2011, Cherokee Services Group, a division of Cherokee Nation Businesses, was named a winner of the GSA’s 8(a) Streamlined Technology Acquisition Resource for Services (STARS II) Government Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC). 
  • In 2011, NANA Development Corporation’s Five Rivers Services, LLC (FRS) was named Small Business Contractor of the Year by the Department of Defense/Pikes Peak Region Military Installations. The award recognizes excellence in small business contractor support for Air Force Space Command, 21st Space Wing (Peterson AFB), 50th Space Wing (Schriever AFB), U. S. Air Force Academy (USAFA), Space and Missile Defense Command/Army Strategic Command (SMDC/ARSTRAT), Fort Carson, and the General Services Administration’s (GSA) Rocky Mountain Region.
  • In 2011, NANA Development Corporation’s subsidiary, NANA Management Services was honored as one of the top minority-owned businesses in the country. This is the third year  in a row NMS was included in DiversityBusiness.com's “Top 500 Diversity Owned Businesses in the U.S.”
  • In 2011, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers honored Sealaska Constructors Midwest Region Operations Manager, Dan Janik with a Commanders Coin. The award recognizes Janik’s work during the construction of the Air Force, MQ1 Predator Beddown at Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri.
