NACA at RES 2010
NACA and a significant number of our members were at RES2010. NACA sponsored RES, held our Annual Member Outreach Reception, had a booth at the RES Trade Fair, and presented during the 8(a) Policy Session. Below are some highlights of the Conference.
RES is a major event for NACA Staff. Over 3,000 Native enterprises and other businesses attended this year. L to R: Sarah Lukin, Executive Director, Jennine Elias, External Affairs Coordinator, Lael Echo-Hawk, Legislative Director.
NACA’s Annual Member Outreach Reception was held at the Aria Hotel this year. It was a huge success with over 300 Native leaders and business executives in attendance.
NACA Staff took every opportunity to meet with our members during RES. Staff are waiting to meet with the Potawatomi Business Development Corporation and Tribal Council. L to R: Lael Echo-Hawk, LD; Sarah Lukin, Executive Director; and Jennine Elias, External Affairs Coordinator.
NACA’s members came out in full force to support our outreach during RES. The Aleut Corporation and many other NACA members helped staff man our booth at the Trade Fair. L to R: Thomas Mack, President Aleut Corp.; Troy Johnson CEO Aleut Corp.; and Sarah Lukin NACA Executive Director.
RES is also an opportunity for us to connect with family. Jennine Elias had the chance to spend time with her aunt Gail Schubert, CEO of Bering Straits Native Corporation, a NACA member.
NACA would like to thank all of our wonderful sponsors for the Annual Member Outreach Reception held during RES2010! We appreciate all of your support.
